Reflection

Of all of the ocean's waves that have come ashore through all of the world's time, no two have been or will ever be the same.

The wonderment of randomness. Either proves god or disproves god's presence. Mind boggling in a divine way.

The Fragile Egg

My practice is like a fragile egg in that there such good life potential. I nurture it, I sit with it to help it stay warm and grow. But as eggs are prone to be, it can be fragile. Distractions happen and the practice takes a back seat to the mindfulness that has helped my egg to grow.

We must remember at all times that our own egg is fragile and we must be gentle with it. We must remain aware of it and remember the love it gives and the love it needs. Use that as the impetus for seeing through whatever has tried to move us off of our individual egg.

These writing are miscellaneous musings around my practice. The personal expectation is that they will help keep me on the right track. I'm hopeful they can be helpful to you as well.
